Andronics Monitoring Expansion

Andronics Ltd has announced its acquisition by Secure Asset Reporting Services Inc, Seattle (SARS). The company will now have additional financial capital for expansion, as well as access to the lpg market in the Americas.

Andronics’ UtilityEye lpg tank measuring/monitoring system allows remote monitoring of lpg levels in storage tanks. The system has been designed to routinely monitor bulk storage, commercial and domestic lpg tanks at timed intervals specified by the supplier. The level, which is taken from the Andronics Sonic Sensor, or from an existing Rochester gauge, can be transmitted either by satellite communication or by radio.

The product is a stand-alone unit capable of being installed anywhere without the need for intrusion into the customer’s premises for connection to a telephone network, or concern over communications coverage areas, as with other wireless schemes.

It has been certified for hazardous areas with an EX rating of EEx d [ia] ia IIB T4, tamb -34°C to 80°C. The enclosure is flameproof and can be easily mounted and secured to the tank.

Tank level information is presented on a password protected website for secure viewing by the supplier. Alternatively, information can be routed to the supplier’s existing scheduling software, providing a fully integrated management system.

The award winning system uses LEO satellites to collect, collate and manage level and temperature information for display on a secure, dedicated website or transmission to existing management systems.
