Aridair UK Ltd has selected Potterton Commercial’s Arizona Evolution 1 steel boilers to use in its new range of Tempest multi-purpose mobile heater/dryers. Tempest units are used for drying flood damaged properties and pest eradication, plaster and paintwork, drying and heating in the construction industry, coping with boiler breakdowns, heating marquees and tents, sterilising and drying ships’ holds, etc.
The Tempest, which may be powered by lpg, is capable of generating 100kW of hot circulating liquid and can power ten 10kW hot cube heat exchangers. It simultaneously powers two independent pre-filled circulation lines that have quick connectors to avoid fluid loss and bleeding.
Aridair’s commercial director Barry Matthewson said: “We selected the Potterton Arizona 93kW model as it is a compact and lightweight welded steel boiler with a small water capacity that keeps the weight to a minimum. Weight is critical for us as all our machines are fixed in trailers.
“We have found the Arizona boiler simple to connect and start. For the end user, the control panel is not over-complicated, which allows for ease of use with simple faultfinding and diagnosis. This user-friendly mode of operation and control is ideal for our purposes as our machines are used all over the UK and Europe and operators will not necessarily speak perfect English.”
Potterton’s Arizona Evolution range comprises one piece steel shell forced draught high efficiency boilers that may be powered by lpg. A reverse flame combustion chamber provides total combustion of the fuel particle, achieved by continual re-entry into the flame zone.
