BRC (GB) Ltd has merged its storage and distribution facilities in Bath and north Wales and moved to new premises in Trowbridge, Wiltshire. Richmond House spans over 10,000sq ft and has storage for over 2,000 lpg autogas tanks and BRC’s other product ranges, including its new ERC lubricants.
Aran New, commercial development manager at BRC (GB), said: “The move has been important for the continued expansion of BRC (GB), as well as offering an improved storage solution. Additional members of staff have been taken on to assist with orders and packing from the new depot.”
BRC was the first lpg autogas equipment supplier to advertise on UK television with a targeted campaign on the Dave channel.
Aran said: “The advert has been running since October last year and has so far resulted in a big increase in demand for the brand from both the general public and lpg autogas conversion centres across the country.”
BRC (GB) also recently introduced its Automatic Lead Forwarding & Assist (ALFA) scheme, which aims to directly distribute qualified leads to its lpg autogas installer network, as well as support the sales and ordering process.
Aran said: “Since our acquisition of the sole UK distributorship of BRC lpg autogas equipment in September 2009, we have set about taking our UK sales operation to the next level. BRC has, for many years, been the brand of choice for a number of the country’s lpg autogas installers and has gone from strength to strength in recent years.
“We have taken a fresh approach to the generation of leads, their distribution and our overall route to market. Having invested heavily in our online operations, as well as our customer service infrastructure, we are now able to source, distribute and service hundreds of enquiries every week through the ALFA scheme that are dealt with directly by our network. “I firmly believe that our dealers will benefit greatly from this, alongside the ability to order all parts online and, with initial results already yielding an increase in orders, we are looking forward to expanding the scheme over the coming months.”
