Call for Lpg Companies to Enter Rushlight Awards

The fourth annual Rushlight Awards will be held on January 27 2011 and entries are invited for the 24 categories covering renewable energy, clean fuels, energy efficiency, power generation, green products and services, water, waste and environmental monitoring and management. The Rushlight Awards promote energy, resource and environmental technologies and innovations by organisations throughout the UK and Ireland. Entries must be received by October 31 2010.

Clive Hall, chief executive of Eventure Media Ltd, which organises the awards, said: “The Rushlight Awards have become an established event recognising the clean technology stars of today. These awards will highlight the technologies and innovations that are shaping the energy, transport, environment and industry sectors in the future.

“We have reorganised some of the categories this year and introduced one new one to cover environmental monitoring and analysis. If you have developed a technology or innovation that is pertinent to one of these categories, then do not hesitate to enter as you have so much to gain. As an RSA accredited event, all group category winners will automatically be nominated for the UK entries of the European Business Awards for the Environment.” Lisa Thomson, communications manager at UKLPG, said: “UKLPG is once again a supporting partner of the Rushlight Awards. The awards seem to have built momentum year on year and it would be nice to have an lpg nomination.”
