Calor Portable Lp Gas Heater Recall

Calor Gas Ltd has issued a product recall on Calor Classic, Calor Compact and Royal Classic portable heaters bought after August 1 2010.

In a statement, Calor said: “Whilst the risk is perceived to be minimal, our customers’ safety is paramount, so we have decided to carry out a product recall. The malfunction in Calor Classic, Calor Compact and Royal Classic gas heaters purchased after August 1 2010 could lead to the heaters emitting carbon monoxide marginally above the allowed levels. We would advise that if you purchased any heater in this range on or after August 1, please do not use your gas heater and return it to wherever you bought it from.”
