Esse offering Cat Enabled Lpg range cooker

Esse, Britain’s oldest cast iron cooker manufacturer, is offering its Cat Enabled range cooker in lpg. The cooker employs the latest inbuilt catalytic technology, making it 100 per cent efficient, since the catalytic converter means no flue, where energy is usually lost on ordinary gas models.

The catalytic converter also neutralises any cooking odours, as well as any other household smells. Furthermore, the lack of a flue makes installation easier and cheaper, as well as giving more flexibility on positioning of the cooker within the kitchen, says Esse.

The Cat Enabled, with its traditional, cast iron styling, features Esse’s easy slide, ‘dog bone’ hotplate and two ovens, the largest in their class, with fast heat up times. Colours available include cream, jet black, classic green, royal blue, cocoa, wedgewood, pewter, claret and saffron.
