Bullfinch Increases its Firepower with Lpg Cylinder Mounted Blowtorch

Bullfinch has launched Firepower, a new lpg cylinder mounted blowtorch. The company aims to use the product to extend its reputation into the plumbing, building and engineering markets.

Bullfinch’s commercial director Stuart Plimmer said: “We’ve been underrepresented in these sectors. In the Firepower product, we’ve combined good design with robust engineering in a highly competitive, value for money package.”

The new torch can be used in tasks from silver soldering and jewellery work to central heating; from paint stripping to telecom, gas and electrical installations, and from general plumbing to agricultural applications.

Firepower’s all metal body is mounted on either a disposable propane or MAP//Pro gas cylinder and has a longer body than its predecessor, giving improved reach. Stuart said: ”We paid considerable attention to design detail to complement standard Bullfinch features, such as efficient automatic ignition, the high performance burner and anti-flare characteristics.”

The new torch can be bought packaged either with or without an lp gas cylinder, and both torch handle and burner packs and the kits that include an lpg gas cylinder are available through builders’ merchants and gas distributors. Stuart added: “We fully understand the pressure on costs in the challenging current conditions in all our user markets. We aim to offer the best value for money to our customers and believe Firepower does just that.”
