JLM Valve Saver Range Takes University Challenge

JLM Lubricants, owned by GMS in Holland, has tested its new Valve Saver Fluid and Valve Saver Kit at HTW Automotive Powertrain University in Saarland, Germany.

“We use a higher dose of active ingredients to deliver superior valve and valve seat protection, with more powerful, newer technology additives,” said Ian Humphreys from JLM. “GMS are the industry leaders in this field, having developed this market for over 11 years, so we have many years of experience and the knowledge to improve product quality and performance, using the latest technology additives to deliver a Valve Saver Fluid superior to any other on the market.”

Test results from the university show that JLM Valve Saver Fluid proved successful in stopping valve seat recession, with no wear found on the inlet or exhaust valves after a 10,000km road test on a Peugeot 107 with a Toyota 1.0L engine running on lpg autogas using a liquid phase injection system.

Professor Thomas Heinze of HTW University said: “The test results left the testing staff in disbelief.”

Ian added: “This testing is the first of its type on a valve saver fluid brand, and clearly shows JLM Valve Saver Fluid’s ability to have a dramatic and immediate impact on the reduction of valve and valve seat wear. JLM is now looking for distributors in all countries offering a comprehensive distributor support programme.”
