Citroën has further expanded its range of PowerShift approved, London congestion charge exempt lpg vans with the Dispatch 2.0i Dual Fuel, now available as part of Citroën’s Ready to Run dual fuel van range.
The Dispatch is converted by Nicholson McLaren Engines (NME), which also converts Citroën’s Nemo, Berlingo First and Berlingo Dual Fuel vans. The new Dispatch conversion includes a 77-litre lpg tank mounted in place of the spare wheel, with the lpg gas filler mounted separately alongside the petrol filler.
Dispatch 2.0i Dual Fuel vans have the same performance characteristics as the standard petrol model and meet both the new European standard R115 and the existing European standard R6701 legislation, and are fully European On Board Diagnosis (EOBD)-compliant. Robert Handyside, Citroën’s commercial vehicle operations manager, said: “The new Dispatch 2.0i Dual Fuel van will appeal to those operators who work within London and other major congestion charge zones. Like all the other vans in the unique Citroën Ready to Run dual fuel van range, it provides major fuel cost and congestion charge savings and plays a key role in reducing CO2 emissions.”
Citroën Ready to Run dual fuel vans all meet PowerShift Band 4 emissions standards and are exempt from the London congestion charge. The lpg dual fuel range now consists of the Nemo 1.4i X, the Berlingo First 1.4i, X 1.6i and LX 1.6i, and the Dispatch 2.0i.
