Lpg Autogas Moonlander Commemorates Apollo Landing

Fahrmitgas, which has been the official supplier of lpg autogas conversion systems to Chevrolet in Germany since 2004, has marked the fortieth anniversary of the first moon landing on July 20 1969 with the launch of the Moonlander, an lpg autogas vehicle based on the Chevrolet Captiva. Production will be limited to 40 vehicles that come complete with a replica spacesuit.

The 2.4-litre version of the Moonlander has a 136 bhp four-cylinder engine, and the SUV has a 3.2-litre V6 engine with 230 bhp and a top speed of 125 mph. The names of the Apollo 11 crew have been added to the rear window.
