Lpg Gas Detector Quartet from Omnitron

Omnitron Ltd, established in 2004 and owned and run by Debbie Hummerstone and Jamie Tisson, provides four lpg detectors for use in plumbing, HVAC, DIY, homes, boats and caravans.

The Omnitron DB4000 handheld gas detector pen was developed to detect traces of all combustible gases in and around gas pipes, fires, boilers and cookers. “It’s a must for all heating engineers and anyone living or working with flammable gases,” said Jamie.

The OMN1001 portable gas detector with gooseneck is designed for industrial use and detects over 25 gases and compounds, including propane and butane. The OMGD2008 for the home detects CO, lpg, natural gas and smoke.

“The latest statistics from the Carbon Monoxide & Gas Safety Society show that, from September 1995 to August 2008, there were 504 accidental deaths from CO in the UK,” said Jamie. “The OMGD2008 is designed to warn homeowners and commercial staff of the potential danger.”

The OMTTGS plug in gas alarm is designed to detect the concentration of combustible and toxic gases or vapours in the atmosphere and plugs straight into an electric socket. “You can even take it on holiday,” said Jamie. “There is absolutely no installation required, you just plug it in.”
