Nationwide Lpg Cylinder Recovery Scheme Proposed

UKLPG is developing proposals for the creation of a nationwide propane and butane cylinder recovery scheme to be run by an independent collector.

“Following discussion at last year’s AGM, a working group has prepared outline proposals and is now finalising these for board and member approval, as well as discussion with key stakeholders,” said Rob Shuttleworth, chief executive of UKLPG.

The target deadline for UKLPG to issue its specification is September 2009, when it will look for proven competent collection companies to respond.
