Manchester Tank & Equipment Company, one of the US’s largest lpg cylinder manufacturers, has recently gained TPED European approval for its 100lb (47kg) cylinder fitted with a RegO multivalve, which allows for self-fill operation.
Distributed exclusively through Tankgas Equipment Ltd in the UK, Manchester says the new size and class of lpg cylinder will complement the self-fill forklift truck cylinder it currently sells in the industry. The RegO multivalve has a 1.3/4″ ACME fill connection, fixed level ullage gauge, vapour off take and relief valve, allowing it to be filled by volume.
“Tankgas has found that, in a number of self-fill forklift truck operations, vapour cylinders are also used and, in the past, we have sold the RegO multivalve separately, allowing companies to convert standard 47kg bottle to self-fill types,” said Martin Griggs of Tankgas Equipment Ltd. “This new Manchester lpg cylinder will negate the expensive needs of de-gassing existing bottles to convert to self-fill type. Over the years, Tankgas has found the Manchester self-fill forklift truck cylinder to be very popular due to its quality finish and competitive pricing, and we hope the new self-fill 47kg cylinder will be equally well received.”
The new lpg cylinder will fully conform to all European Directives, have zinc corrosion protection, a red powder coat finish and can be finished optionally with company logos, says Tankgas.
