BP LPG Propels into New
Business Sector
BP LPG has successfully completed the transfer
of the BP aerosol propellants business from BP Chemicals. BP
LPG will now be fully responsible for the management and operation
of BP’s aerosol propellant business in
the UK. "We believe that this business sits perfectly alongside our
other LPG operations and we are greatly looking forward to taking on this exciting
new business sector," enthused Martin Welsh, BP LPG commercial manager. “We
have initiated a full review to determine the future requirements of the aerosol
business, which is likely to result in further investment in our production
facilities to meet our customer commitments and future needs."
Newly appointed aerosols manager, Darren Morgan,
brings extensive lpg experience to the sector and will be responsible
for building and developing the business. “My immediate
priority will be to provide our customers with the dedicated
service levels that they require, including specifically to provide
supply assurance, product quality assurance and critical timed
deliveries. I am confident that BP LPG will continue to be a
major supplier to the UK aerosols market. We are looking forward
to working with our customers to provide a safe and efficient
service with quality products."
