New MD for Flogas Ireland
Patrick Mercer has retired as chief executive
of Flogas Ireland. He was the last remaining member of the founding
executive team to retire from the company, which was incorporated
in 1977. He played a significant role in the development of Flogas,
both in Ireland and Britain, and contributed greatly to the company's
success, says Flogas.
Richard Martin, formerly sales & marketing
director, was appointed as managing director of Flogas Ireland
on April 1.
Richard joined Flogas in 1979 and has held a number of senior
management roles, principally in the sales & marketing division
of Flogas. As a key member of the management team, he has contributed
significantly to the overall development of Flogas' operations
in Ireland, said the company.
