All Change...
Emma FitzGerald, currently managing director
of Shell Gas and chair of the LP Gas Association, will take up
a new role as local senior lubricants representative – China,
based in Beijing, and from December will also become GM Asia
Pacific Industry Lubricants.
Emma commented: "I have just received
a job offer from Shell which, on a personal level, definitely
corresponds to a once in a lifetime opportunity. It is not every
day that I am asked to manage Shell’s lubricants business
in China and Asia Pacific! It is with mixed emotions that I have
to tell you that I have accepted the offer and will be taking
up my new position on 1 September. I've really enjoyed working
together with the LPGA members to take the industry forward,
and I am sure that, with a concerted effort, you will be able
to build on the progress so far."
John Tolchard will be the new managing director
of Shell Gas UK from 1 September. John will be joining from India,
where he is currently general manager of Shell Gas India. He
has extensive experience in the Shell Gas business with prior
roles in Poland and Bulgaria.
Patrick Segarra, specialities director
at Total UK and a member of the LPGA Executive Committee, is
leaving Total UK to take over the role of director general
at the AEGPL. Stanislas (Stan) Mittelman, who is currently
managing director at Total Zimbabwe, will take over from Patrick
as specialities director and will also be on the LPGA Executive
Committee.
