MP Visits Nicholson McLaren
John Redwood, MP, visited Nicholson McLaren
to launch its new lpg Citroen Berlingo demonstrator vehicle.
Nicholson McLaren Engines is a company that
is heavily involved in the motor racing industry and has diversified
into the alternative fuels market. Nicholson McLaren imports
and supplies a nationwide dealer network with its lpg conversion
systems for petrol driven vehicles.
Mr Redwood said: “Lpg is an environmental
friendly fuel that, because of low tax from the government, is
much cheaper than petrol or diesel. For anyone driving a lot
of miles, it makes sense to convert their vehicle to lpg – then
you can be green and save money at the same time.
"It is great news that this exciting
new technology is being developed in Wokingham by Nicholson McLaren
Engines, the company that brings us Formula One race technology.
I wish them every success in developing their business as they
spread the green message."
