New LPGA Chairman
Kerry Wood of BP LPG UK has resigned as Chairman
of the LP Gas Association as he is moving on to a new post with
BP Australia in January 2005.
"I am certain you will all join me in
wishing Kerry every success in his new venture and, coming from
New Zealand, it will certainly
be nearer to home for him," said Tom Fidell, director general
of the LPGA.
Vice chairman, Paddy Kilmartin of Flogas,
will take over with effect from the end of this year, and his
chairmanship
will run
through until the LPGA AGM and conference in 2006.
Paddy Kilmartin
has been LPGA chairman three times before, in 1993/4, 1998/9
and 2001/2.
"I am sure we all welcome Paddy back
to the role of being our chairman once again," said Tom
Fidell.
