Restructuring at CORGI
CORGI’s registration managing director,
Tim Ottridge, has announced that he is to leave the organisation.
Tim,
who joined CORGI last year, said: “My time at CORGI
has been great. However, I have been offered an opportunity that
I have been unable to turn down. I have come into contact with
a great number of people within CORGI and the wider industry
that all share the same goals, and I am confident that the gas
registration scheme will continue to develop in the way that
is right for the consumer.”
Tim’s new position is
outside the gas, heating and plumbing industry.
Mike Thompson,
CORGI’s chief executive, said: “I’d
like to thank Tim for the fantastic contribution he has made
in his time with us and wish him the best of luck in his new
venture. Following Tim’s announcement, we have been looking
at how best to adjust the structure to enable us to keep making
improvements to the organisation.”
Internal changes are
planned to keep the management structure flat and responsive
in order to ensure that the company can adapt
effectively to industry forces. The restructure has been designed
to ensure CORGI can continue to make improvements to the services
it offers to its registered installers, it says.
