South Staffs Industries Appoints Operations Director

South Staffs Industries Ltd has announced the appointment of Scott Ingram as operations director from operations manager.

“Scott has been promoted in recognition of his notable achievements and hard work, especially over the last eighteen months, which has been much appreciated,” said Chris Hickman, managing director of South Staffs Industries.

“Scott brings to the role a wealth of experience gained from 15 years working for the company, specialising in the periodic requalification of low pressure gas cylinders. “Scott’s promotion and other recent promotions within the company will allow us to focus on new markets by exploiting new opportunities that have arisen recently, allowing us to substantially grow the business from 2010 onwards.” Scott holds a B(Eng) Hons degree in Mechanical Engineering and was a driving force in South Staffs Industries’ appointment by the Department for Transport as both a Notified Body and Inspection Body.

Scott said: “The focus of South Staffs Industries has always been to produce a superb product finished to the highest quality, whilst demonstrating unequalled levels of customer service. It is my responsibility to ensure that these fundamentals continue to be addressed.
