Tankgas Satisfying Important Market

An important market for many lpg companies is in installations where cylinders for multiple forklift trucks are refilled onsite. To this end, Tankgas Equipment Ltd says it is offering a comprehensive range of products from the world’s leading manufacturers of equipment to satisfy this important target market.
Manchester Tank, a producer of pressure vessels, manufactures self-fill forklift truck cylinders in the USA and offers a range of cylinders and tanks for lpg.

“Working exclusively with Tankgas for nearly 10 years, Manchester has engineered a cylinder to fully comply with the Transportable European Pressure Equipment,” said Martin Griggs at Tankgas. “Cylinders are hot zinc undercoated and finished with a red powder coat, and fitted with individual quality RegO valves for filling, liquid offtake, ullage and relief, plus a Rochester float gauge, giving the tank contents in both horizontal and vertical operation. Individual company markings are applied in the UK as required.”

Tankgas is also offering the new GG series GasGuard 1.3/4” ACME filling nozzle from LG Equipment in Australia for cylinder filling.

“Replacing the original GasGuard nozzle, the LG1ESL, the GG series represents the new generation of GasGuard refuelling nozzles,” said Martin. “The new GG1ESL offers better aesthetic appearance and improved ergonomics. The main improvement to the nozzle is the new latch arrangement that is built into the handle for a one handed operation. The handle is pulled back and your first finger engages the latch. To disengage, the lever is squeezed back and the latch releases automatically. The lever requires less force to operate, and a shorter lever movement makes a more comfortable handling operation, helped also by a reduction in overall weight. From an operational point of view, the new design is fully interchangeable with the LG1ESL.”

For other types of cylinder filling operations, Tankgas offers RegO hydraulic automatic cylinder filling systems used in conjunction with beam arm scales, plus a range of manual cylinder filling adaptors for propane and 1.1/4” ACME forklift truck cylinders.
