LP Gas publisher PRG Ltd has announced a new media partnership with
UKLPG, the lp gas industry’s trade association.
Rob Shuttleworth, chief executive of UKLPG, said: “Bringing LP
Gas onboard as our media partner will be a great asset to our members
and provides an opportunity for those who are not members to see the
valuable work UKLPG does on behalf of the whole industry. It’s
a great means to reach all of our members and keep them updated with
association activities.”
LP Gas will carry UKLPG’s member and Approved Installer news from
2009.
“This enables us to deliver regular updates on our activities across
our membership, and provides a one stop shop for industry news,” said
Lisa Thomson, UKLPG’s communications manager.
Following the publisher’s recent name change to PRG Ltd after restructuring
at the company to better integrate its divisions, LP Gas has also brought
its advertising sales in-house. Tracey Loats, who many will have already
spoken to concerning the LP Gas Directory 2009, has been appointed to
cultivate LP Gas’ advertising clients and fulfil the magazine’s
hopes of future growth.
Ray Groves, publisher of LP Gas, said: “We are delighted to be
working even closer with Rob and his team at UKLPG. My editor Faye Spiers,
our team and I are proud of our 13 years of association with the lp gas
industry, and we look forward to this being a genuine and mutually beneficial
partnership.
“It’s exciting for us to be more a part of what is already
a strong and proactive association, and to help it communicate its many
achievements to existing and potential new members. We are currently
seeing increased interest in lpg, especially via our website, so
our news is reaching more end users too. The timing for us all to be
working more closely together could not be better.”
