Lochinvar has extended its range of high efficiency, gas-fired condensing
water heaters. The company’s EcoForce range now comprises eight
models, with hot water recovery rates from 716 to 3,400 litres per hour
against a 44 degree Celsius temperature rise.
Its three EcoForce+ models are floor standing and supplied with integral
storage tanks, primary pump and interconnecting pipework.
he five EcoForce
wall hung water heaters, designed for installation with separate storage
tanks, offer a compact solution where plant room space is restricted,
says the company.
David Pepper, managing director of Lochinvar, said: “EcoForce water
heaters operate on the proven principles of low storage and fast hot
water recovery, as well as offering the added benefits of condensing
technology. Both heat exchanger and storage tanks are constructed from
grade 316L stainless steel, providing both reliability and longevity.
“The addition of the new EcoForce models provides further choice
for specifiers and installers of direct gas-fired water heaters in large
domestic, commercial and industrial applications.”
EcoForce has a fully modulating premix burner that allows operation at
25 per cent of maximum input when hot water demand is at its lowest,
increasing to 100 per cent as demand increases.
Available for use with lpg, EcoForce is suitable for room sealed installation with balanced flue assemblies in both concentric and twin pipe arrangements, with flue runs of up to 50m. The units are also available for open flues and multiple installations can be installed in a common flue arrangement.
Ancillary options features include an anti-legionellae function, remote water heater controller option and condensate neutralisation kits.
